Since its incorporation, RV Group research efforts have been geared towards accelerating access to affordable and innovative medicines. We focus on products that have unique capabilities and address unmet patient needs, thus focusing on developing differentiated products.
Our research and development organization comprises RV Lifesciences (RVLL), India, RV OPV and BRV Vietnam. The system complies with ISO, ICH Guideline Q8 and other international standards. We have successfully developed and technology transferred more than 300 products among the RV Group, and many products are bio-equivalent to the originator drugs.
The RV Lifesciences Research and Development Centre is a world class facility to develop the latest formulation as per new technologies. The facility has been recognized as an in-house R&D Centre by the Government of India’s Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR). The center comprises of a strong team of 17 scientist for R&D and 9 pharmacists, equipped with modern equipment’s comprising of HPLC machine and Gas chromatography equipment.
Our R&D Centre is developing formulation with up-to-date technologies in the therapeutic sectors of Antivirals, Antibacterial, Antiretroviral agent, Anthelmintic agent, Iron chelating agent, Cardiovascular agent, Analgesics, Hypoglycemic, and scale-up various production at commercial level.
These will be launched through our EU approved facility in Aurangabad, India and later on through OPV Pharma, Vietnam which will get it’s EU accreditation in 2023. A range of products covering, cardiology, diabetes, Gastrointestinal, Hepatology etc are being researched on. A further US/EU approvable facility is in the works and will cater to these markets starting 2025.
